Prayer Change Things

Give Me Strength, Lord

 

Lord, you are Holy above all others, and all of the strength that I need is in your hands. I am not asking, Lord, that you take this trial away. Instead, I simply ask that Your will be done in my life. Whatever that means, that is what I want. But I admit that it's hard, Lord. Sometimes I feel like I can’t go on. The pain and the fear are too much for me, and I know that I don’t have the strength on my own to get through this. I know that I can come to you, Jesus, and that you will hear my prayer. I know that it is not your intent to bring me to this point just to leave me in the wilderness alone. Please, Lord, give me the strength that I need to face today. I don't have to worry about tomorrow. If you just give me the strength that I need today that is all I need. God, there are things happening around me right now that I do not understand. Some of these things make me feel weak, helpless and afraid. Even in the midst of this, I know that you are the Lord. Keep me from sinning during this trial. Instead, help me to keep my eyes on you. You are the Holy Lord, and all of my hope rests in you.Thank you for hearing my prayer. In Jesus' name I pray, . Amen.

A Prayer for Peace of Mind

 

Heavenly Father, please grant me peace of mind and calm my troubled heart. My soul is like a turbulent sea. I can't seem to find my balance so I stumble and worry constantly. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you've laid out for me. I trust your Love God, and know that you will heal this stress. Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of night. Please bring me clarity with the light of God. Almighty God, We bless you for our lives, we give you praise for your abundant mercy and grace we have received. We thank you for your faithfulness even though we are not that faithful to you. Lord Jesus, we ask you to give us all around peace in our mind, body, soul, and spirit. We want you to heal and remove everything that is causing stress, grief, and sorrow in our lives. Please guide our path through life and make our enemies be at peace with us. Let your peace reign in our family, at our place of work, businesses and everything we lay our hands on. Let your angels of peace go ahead of us when we go out and stay by our side when we return. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Faith! If Only the Size of a ...

 

Father, in glorifying Christ and sending us Your Spirit, You open the way to eternal life. May our sharing in this gift increase our love and make our faith grow stronger. Increase in us, Lord, the faith You have given us, and bring to a harvest worthy of heaven. God our Father, You conquer the darkness of ignoranceby the light of Your Word. Strengthen within our hearts the faith You have given us; let not temptation ever quench the fire that Your love has kindled within us. Father, You revealed Your Son to the nations by the guidance of a star. Lead us to Your glory in heaven by the light of faith. Lord God Almighty, keep us faithful to Your law in thought, Word, and deed. Be our helper, now and always, free us from sin and bring us to salvation in that kingdom. Sustain faith within us and make us ever loyal to Christ. Let Your church be the sign of salvation for all the nations of the world. Almighty God, every good thing comes from You. Fill our hearts with love for You, increase our faith, and by Your constant care, protect the good You have given us. Father God, only with Your help can we offer You fitting service and praise. May we live the faith we profess and trust Your promise of eternal life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
